5 WEEKS YOGA COURSE - {BEGINNERS INVERSION AND ARM-BALANCE} MAX 5

This course will teach you the basic to build a strong, yet flexible body. 

Both inversions and arm balances are part of proper yoga practice and healthy lifestyle. With modifications and correct strengthening practice, they become accessible to anyone. Excellent practice for managing and correcting spine misalignments {its my practice for scoliosis}.

Each class will have a practice that builds up to the next one,  to become comfortable with arm balances and inversions. From strong arms and core to whole body awareness, strength, and flexibility. The movements are slow, with repetition and holding of poses.

Max 5 to allow for individual modification and assist.

The more you practice each week, the more you feel your body getting stronger and comfortable to progress further.

When you practice challenging poses in a class, it goes too fast with no time to understand correct alignment and dynamics of a pose.  At workshops too, time goes fast and once it's ended, half of the things you have practice is gone. You might ask yourself: How did I do that? Where did I put my hands? How did I balance? I can't do it anymore, what do I do wrong?

With this course, we progress each week, practicing each week drills and poses so that you become familiar with the strengthening drills and Inversions and arm balances, and you can feel comfortable to add them in your regular yoga practice. 

This course is for people looking for a safe, yet challenging class that is suitable for beginners. No need to be advanced or super-flexible or previous arm balances or inversion experience. 

 

What to expect:

when you arrive, you will have few minutes to settle followed by

  • pranayama (breathing practice)
  • warm up
  • Strengthening drills
  • Yoga poses to prepare for crow pose
  • Yoga poses to prepare for headstand
  • End sequence
  • 10minutes for Sound-bath relaxation
  • Last 5 minutes is time for questions.
