This yoga class is for people that want and deserve some 'me' time to destress. Suitable to adults of any level of capabilities and age.
Relaxing and destressing Candle-lit Yoga. Leave the stress of the week behind you and start the weekend with a calming candle light yoga.
Glowing candles and ambient lights is the perfect setting to relax. Mindful flow that progress into calming, stretching, still poses will gradually release the tension in your whole body, to a complete relaxation. It will be difficult not to fall asleep! No incense or scented candles in respect of people with allergies.
Meeting at 7.15pm for introduction and registration ready for a 7.30pm start of the yoga practice.
Explore how breathing (pranayama) helps to de-stress and creates equilibrium in the nervous system. Introspective practice where slow mindful movements are guided through breath awareness, leading to more static poses to bring a sense of opening, calm and tranquility. The practice will end with a blissful guided relaxation (savasana).
The final relaxation will bring the body to balance and peacefulness, here the body will cool down and you may need some warm clothes or a blanket. Suitable from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners.
