Yoga Beginners Course (4 weeks)

Yoga course - 4 weekly Yoga classes of 75 plus 10 minutes for questions, a total of 85 minutes.

Each week we practice a sequence with modification suitable to each individual.

You will learn the correct alignment for your body, many people here discover they haven’t connected with their body for a long time losing range of movement.

It is a classic Yoga class, we practice pranayama (breathing ) and hold the poses to allow for muscle memory, strength and flexibility. There will be OM chanting at the beginning and end of the class, but there is no pressure to join vocally, you can just listen. Equally there will be an introduction to mudras, or hand gesture that works on the subtle energies of the body.

You will never be pushed beyond your limits or asked to do anything you don’t wish to do.

Printout of the sequence to practice at home and supporting videos are included in the cost of the course. .

Typical class:

We start with Chant, Pranayama (Breathing practice), slow warm up and then Yoga poses. We end with Yoga nidra guided relaxation, sound healing and Om chanting. There will be 5-10 minutes time at the end of the class for questions.

Limited to max 5 people.

The style is Therapeutic Hatha, Iyengar, Sivananda with Yoga Therapy for chronic back pain and Ayurveda.

Blocks and belts are provided.
